Dear Friends… hola from Spain!

I’m in Valencia and we’re just about to open Elektra at Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía. Elektra is such a demanding and yet brilliant role – she’s vengeful, obsessive and terrifying! Doris Soffel, Sara Jakubiak and Derek Welton join me on stage to make up this dysfunctional family.

We open on Saturday 18th January, conducted by Marc Albrecht, and directed by Robert Carsen.
